Introduction to/Review of Meditation Techniques
This course will offer instruction in the process of using focused awareness in the service of moment-to-moment observation of the mind/body process. We will learn to observe whatever is happening without judgment. We can come to experience our lives and activities from a more spacious and relaxed perspective, developing wisdom and compassion for ourselves and others. We will learn to transfer these skills to our daily lives by practicing mindfulness, opening to the present moment with awareness. While based in Buddhist practice, anyone can benefit from learning these techniques and points of view.
