Kathy Schwerin- Community Dharma Leader

Kathy began her meditation practice and dharma study in 1987 after traveling in Asia. She started teaching meditation classes in 1993 and later completed the Community Dharma Leader program at Spirit Rock Meditation Center. A psychotherapist in private practice in Carson City and Reno, she can’t imagine facing the suffering her clients bring to the room without the guiding light and transformative power of the dharma. She has taught mindfulness workshops for therapists and enjoys taking photos with her point-and-shoot camera. She is a licensed minister in Nevada.
