Dharma Zephyr Beginners' Sangha
This group is for beginners, practitioners who want a shorter sitting period, those who want to practice earlier in the evening, or anyone who wants to attend. After introductions, the group will sit in meditation, then read and discuss Eight Mindful Steps to Happiness: Walking the Buddha's Path, a clear, engaging introduction to the Buddha's Noble Eightfold Path by the beloved Sri Lankan teacher Bhante Gunaratana. The facilitators, Candice Chartraw, Jeff Froschauer, and Anne Macquarie, will offer guided meditation instructions for newcomers. No registration is necessary and there is no charge, though traditionally we offer a donation to cover costs.
